Sisterhood

Our sisterhood is a special bond between women who choose to pledge a sorority. Friendship is a staple of life. With friendships, we connect with others and receive that internal strength so necessary for our personal growth. Delta Zeta is based upon friendships. Through these friendships, we have developed an incredible volunteer driven organization. Our shared Ritual are just one more way this Sorority makes us sisters. We have all experienced the same Delta Zeta ceremonies, heard the same words, and learned the same symbolism. This is the thread that keeps all of us together. When a woman is initiated into Delta Zeta, she takes an oath of lifetime loyalty and pledges her continued support to and for the Sorority, thus her "lifetime commitment. While many things in our lives may change, Delta Zeta will be the one constant. Always there, always accessible, always a part of us wherever we may be. Old friends or new, we are all sisters, forever.

Social

Development of our social skills is only second to scholarship as strengths are developed in Delta Zeta. Delta Zeta offers an education beyond the classroom that is essential to each woman’s future success. Sisterhood activities and chapter social events are not only enjoyable, but useful, too. They will serve as an aid in helping develop our interests and abilities as well as gaining valuable experience in many areas. Most importantly, however, these social endeavors with our sisters will provide a lifetime of c herished memories. As a social organization, Delta Zeta gives many opportunities to perfect our social skills. Delta Zeta stands not only for sisterhood, but also for culture and refinement. Through Delta Zeta, we have opportunities to meet many new people and make new friends. We convey the best impression of Delta Zeta through our courtesy, good manners and communication skills.
